CROSSES BY CATHERINE

Welcome to my creative space for unique, scrap iron crosses

“I only use scrap, because that is what God has done with me. I have
found myself in the iron scrap piles of the Iron City of Birmingham. Home of southern railroad iron, and what were once shackles of the human spirit and mind.”

God whispered to me one night to make a cross out of scraps, and He has continued telling me to make them ever since. I pray in the studio every day for the creative Holy Spirit to guide me. From the many hardships and trials in my life, it is easy to get beat down and discouraged. However, in recovery, I realize Gods will and purpose in it all. He is, without a doubt, using it for something much larger than myself.

“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord,

"plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give

you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29 : 11

And we know that in all things God works for the good of

those who love Him, who have been called according

to His purpose. Romans 8:28

But seek first His kingdom, and His righteousness; and all

these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:3

My sincere prayer is that along the journey of life, you too will know Gods full purpose for you.
